- the project brief is for a series of small city sites in the Schaarbeek district of Brussels
- each project site is unique, and represents a lost space in the city
- each project site must provide both built and unbuilt space for 10 families

as with the CASE STUDY investigation, the primary method of design investigation is an abstract model,
one which helps develop and reflect the concept of absence, presence, built, unbuilt in the developing project…..a representation of a life in-between
